The location for Montignac-Lascaux was super and magnificent, close enough to the river as well as the square. It also was far away from everything else.

This place is wonderfully located, just a short 10-15 minute walk from Fois Gras du Bois Barerou, and it's right on the square.

Loved exploring the prehistoric sites in the "valley of man". The regional cuisine was to die for. A fully equipped kitchen was a bonus. Enjoyed hiking and fishing. Great for history buffs like me.
Trying to find suitable dining options for my picky taste was such a fun challenge.

The suite was spacious and had a nice common kitchen with free coffee and cookies. The host was friendly and accommodating. The town was close to important archeological sites and beautiful châteaux. We had a great time canoeing down the river and exploring the area.
Being in a small town meant that dinner reservations were necessary and sometimes hard to come by. We also found that the French tend to eat dinner early, which made it difficult for us to find food in time.

I had the most amazing stay at Les Chambres De L'Atelier A in Montignac! The apartment was cozy and modern, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants, cafes, and shops. I especially enjoyed the communal kitchen/dining area, which was a great place to socialize. The owner, Diane, was delightful and made me feel very welcomed. I highly recommend this hotel for its superb location, lovely accommodations, and excellent host.
